After seeing the latest trailer for Blade Runner 2049 I decided to do a new oil painting of some of the characters. Here’s a section of the painting that I’m working on. I’ll post the full painting once it’s finished.

I am pretty much finished now. Here’s a close up of the repainted face which I am now happy with. Felicia has been through many faces and hairstyles to get to this point 🙂
Looking at the canvas it’s impossible to tell what has gone on in the previous layers of paint. I had scratched off any build up of dry paint from before so it’s all smooth.
